Well, I love this game, but I can rarely make it to Saturday tournements, like the one that Eric Becker is hosting shortly. If I were to host a Mox tournament in Des Moines in late March to mid April on a Sunday, what can I expect for an outcome? Who would be willing to travel? Bear in mind, the tournament would be really informal and not hosted by a store. My rules knowledge is out of date and not up to par, so I would need a fairly experienced player/judges, unless someone were to step up for me.

Another issue is prize support. I have very little card stock outside of the two decks I own, so I would be just be buying prize support for the top 4. Since there isn't many ways I can scale up the prizes in the case of a large turnout, how could this be recitfied?

I also have the option of finding a store that would be willing to host for me and do all the judging, etc, in exchange for me providing the prize support. Mayhem Comics might be a possible venue, but that depends on how many people  I can give as an estimate for who will arrive.

It will be in the Des Moines area, guaranteed. If I can garner enough interest, it will be in be in late March to mid April.

Also, if any experienced TOs would like to share insight as to putting together a one time deal like this, I'd love to hear your advice.
