Ok, I had a really interesting play situation tonight, which ended up deciding the outcome of the draft.
Round 3, game 3, I am at 5 life, my opponent is at 14. We each have enough lands to do pretty much whatever we want.
My opponent has in play: Castle Raptors (tapped from attacking), Zealot il-Vec, and Amrou Scouts. He is playing W/R. He has already played Disintigrate. He has already played and lost a Knight of the Holy Nimbus.
I have in play: Amrou Seekers, D'Avenant Healer, 2x Ivory Giant, 1 with Ophidian Eye on it.
My opponent has nothing in hand, I have a couple of lands in mine.
About half of my library is gone, the only ways to deal with the Raptors (even temporarily) I have remaining are a Crookclaw Transmuter and a Thunder Totem.
My opponent probably has no Rebels left in his library, as he has searched a few times already and the past 2 times he got Zealots.
It is my first main phase. How do I attack?

I'd attack with everything except for the healer. If he draws any damage spell you are pretty much screwed anyway so there is little point in keeping back more than strictly necessary. It is unlikely that he will block so he will take eight and go down to six.
Assuming he doesn't draw anything very relevant (creature or land) and he goes all-in you can block his seekers and prevent one to either yourself or the Healer taking you down to one or two lives. So it is more likely that he will just attack with the Castle Raptor and the Shadow guy. You prevent one and go to two.
Then you attack all-in and he will take at least three on the chin (if he played a creature last turn) and you'll be in burning range.
So you really need to hit something (burn or a flyer) in the those three draws or you are dead, but that is how I'd play it.

I feel like I might be missing something. Neither of you have any spells in hand, you are at 5 against a flyer, a shadow guy, and a scout, right? It seems like your play is to swing with everything but your healer. On his turn, he will swing with Raptors and likely with Zealot too (if he is smart), which lets you pick off the shadow guy but you take 3 and he has lethal on the board. If he blocks an Ivory Giant this turn, he has to draw a spell or else you have exactly 9 next turn to swing and kill him (to his tapped raptors and no zealot). If he draws a guy to block, well, you have to draw removal or you die to that plan.
Basically, Why not swing with everything but Healer (so he can't swing back and kill you), and cross his fingers that his red deck doesn't have Burn on top (and really, you need him to draw land or you to draw removal).

What plays other than the all-ins described above are you considering?

He could draw a Haste guy to kill you if you go all in during the attack step. Either Avalanche Riders or the Saq'atta guy. However, since you are dead to rites in two turns if you don't draw removal I think it is a fair play to go all in with the Scout, and the two fatties. There is also the possibility that you will draw one of your outs to the Castle Raptors off the Ophidian Eye. Or, even a blocker for a possible hasty man off the top of his library.
The play that I would expect him to make on his next turn would be to attack with the Raptors and the 1/1 Shadow, so that you will have to shoot down the shadow guy instead of preventing one damage to yourself. Putting you dead on board in one more turn. Therefore he will leave the 2/1 back to block.
His life total should be 6, and yours will be 2 when you take your next turn.
He will have one blocker (unless he draws one), and you will be able to swing in for exatly 6 if he blocks an Ivory Giant. (For lethal). (2 Giant, 1 Seekers, 1 Healer). Remember that the zealot can't block any of your men.
However, that is assuming that he doesn't draw a second blocker, or burn. And that you don't draw an additional attacker or blocker off the Phid eye. At least that is how I would probably play it.
How did this series of events actually play out in the draft. What did you guys draw?
