Ancestral Flashback
Instant
If you would discard Ancestral Flashback, shuffle Ancestral Flashback into your library.
Draw a card, then draw a card for each Ancestral Flashback in your graveyard.
Flashback: U

Yup...no manacost so it can't be cast. It sounds too broken with Intuition/Quiet Speculation.

Current wording:

Ancestral Flashback
Instant
Draw a card, then draw a card for each Ancestral Flashback in your graveyard.
Flashback: U

Why the arbitrary no-discard clause?  Seems like this will either be broken on the merit of other cards or not at all anyway, and it feels too rigid and confining.

Well, then you'd play it with Intuition and Bazaar and it would be insane. I mean, UUU for 6 cards is ridiculous, especially when it can be divided up among phases/turns.

I figured I'd keep it to Quiet Speculation...1UUUU for 6 cards is pretty sick. If you all agree it is not broken with discard, then I could take out the clause.

Intuition {2U} |Instant| Search your library for any three cards and reveal them. Target opponent chooses one. Put that card into your hand and the rest into your graveyard. Then shuffle your library.
It already works with Intuition.

My point is that it's a fairly arbitrary drawback.  It's infinitely limited; a card that only works with less than a dozen cards in the history of magic is pretty poor.

It's possibly better than Deep Analysis in a dredge shell.  That's the number one way I'd try to break this card.  On the other hand, if you can get four copies of it in the yard, you've probably won already.

It doesn't work well with Intuition. 2U to pay UU for 3 cards next turn? That's really not better than Intuition+AK. Now, if you could discard the 3rd one in your hand, it's 2U to pay UUU for 6 cards next turn.

I guess I'll take out the clause.
