So, here's the deal: I'm an avid Legacy player, but I do sometimes wander over to these forums.
There's been a weekly tournament at my local store, where the format is either: unpowered vintage, or legacy decks. Not one or the other, but both formats playing against each other. The decks are really diverse, ranging from Elves and Sneak Attack to Landstill and Oath, to Threshold and Solidarity.
It's a lot of fun, so, I've decided to build my first vintage deck for these tournaments. Note, I live in Holland, so, it's all non-proxy, even 'real' tournaments. I want to keep it semi-budget, so I'm not going to buy $hops for this, but I would like some comments on this list I've come up with:

hyperMUD / shopless Aggro

//mana ( 33 )
4 ancient tomb
4 city of traitors
4 wasteland
1 strip mine
1 tolarian
4 darksteel citadel
1 seat of the synod
4 great furnace
1 sol ring
1 mana vault
1 mana crypt
1 grim monolith
1 lotus petal
1 mox diamond
4 metalworker

//beaters ( 11 )
4 juggernaut
3 lodestone myr
4 phyrexian war beast

//annoying ( 8 )
4 tangle wire
1 trinisphere
3 chalice of the void

//stuff ( 8 )
3 staff of domination
3 well of knowledge
2 lightning greaves

sideboard ( 15 - just a quick idea )
3 orb of dreams
3 triskelion
3 duplicant
3 jester's cap
3 tormod's crypt

The deck as it is now performs great in goldfishing and testing, trashing most of the decks thrown against it. However, as I'm not really into vintage, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask you guys at these forums for some tips.

I'm a little confused.  By *or* Legacy decks, do you mean if you don't use any of the cards that are banned in Legacy, you can use cards that are allowed in Legacy but restricted in Vintage?

Yes, you either play a deck that follows the banned list of Legacy, or you play a deck that uses the Vintage banned/restricted list, but without power. Basicly, its a 2-format tournament. Pick a format you want you're deck to be legal in, and create it as such.

I really don't think that a Shop deck would be very good at all without Mishra's Workshop itself. I'd play Angry Hermit , because it requires no real P9 power nine, but is a very fast deck. I'd imagine that versus some of the provided decks, you could do very well.

Just look through the link if you are interested in the idea. Un-powering lists isn't difficult at all, because you just cut the two Moxen for two more Simian Spirit Guides, and Lotus for whatever you want, really (Probably Overgrown Tomb). This however only really works if Future Sight is legal, which it should be in a couple weeks.

Well of Knowledge (if it's what I think it is), Phyrexian War Beast and (possibly) Lightning Greaves all seem kinda weak sauce, even in your meta.

Consider Arcbound Crusher (a Beast I tell you!), or Arcbound Ravager with Triskiellion.

Sword of Fire and Ice is a great card in 5/3.  It's certainly a better draw engine than Well and probably Staff, and it wrecks weenies.
