[Report] Myriad Games Vintage February 10th, 2007 w/T8 Decks

Thank you to everyone who attended the second event in our 2007 Vintage Tournament Series here at Myriad Games.

Steve Morency won the Preregistration Bonus Dual Land.

Sara Yarrington won the Best Deck Name Contest with "Kenny Rogers Wins Again: Gamblin' Salvagers"
Mike Bergeron came in a very close second with "I'm only here for Tumblin' Dice!!!"
Bill Copes also won for "Stop or my Mom will Extirpate something!"

The Myriad Gear Challenge continued to be popular. I played 11 games and we gave away a bunch of Free Myriad Gear. Thanks to everyone who participated. Enjoy the Gear!

Our New Player Bonus Booster Pack was also appreciated. We had five new players and each of them received a Free Booster Pack!

Every player that wanted one received one of Sara's famous Myriad Games Magical Mana Cookies!

The Vintage Draft (including cards from The Dark, Legends, Antiquities, and Arabian Nights) was a big success. We filled up the 8 slots promptly and all eight players had a blast. The final standings from that event were:

Our inaugural Best Tournament Report contest is underway. All tournament reports posted in the Tournament Announcement section of The Mana Drain by February 17th will be eligible to win. Reports must include Myriad Games in the title. Style points will be awarded for catchy titles, amusing anecdotes, and interesting coverage. Super style points will be awarded for good pictures from the event. Everyone is encouraged to respond to the tournament reports to let us know which you like best (you may PM myriadgames with comments if you cannot post directly to the Tournament Report forum). I will be the grand, august, final arbiter as to the final placement of reports. We may even award ancillary prizes if there are multiple reports that are deserving. Prizes will be reserved at Myriad Games and may be picked up the next time the winner(s) stop by. As reports are added, I will add handy links to the various tournament reports from the player's names in the final standings below.
