I actually called WOTC because I wanted confirmation of what was going on. I pointed out that the ruling directly contradicts the current oracle wording.  The rep put me on hold for a couple of minutes.  When he came back he told me that the oracle wording is correct and the creatures will now enter play.

So just to sum up, everyone understands that:

1. The oracle text is effective immediately, as soon as they change it, it is legal.
2. The rulings don't actually MEAN anything legally, other than as a guideline.  Technically, all the data contained there can be gained by reading the comprehensive rules and interpreting them properly.  Think of them as Italics in a text box.
3. If the rulings contradict the Oracle, the Oracle wins.  Period.  Oracle text takes precedence over EVERYTHING, rulings, card text, everything.
4. As soon as the Oracle changes again (if it does), Flash will work differently again as of that moment, no 30 days notice, nothing, its just changed.

I prefer Misdirection over Imperial Seal, but I also run 1 merchant scroll so thats probably why.

Also, I fail to see how illusions of grandeur is better for this deck than lat-nam's in any situation.

For Flash decks, I was thinking something more along the lines of

"Flash of the Titans, Cereberal Style"

UB with Flash, Suderiing Titan, Tinker, Animate Dead.  This could allow for a control suite with Merchant Scolls, maybe Duress and Tutors

Flash Hulk seems better in T1 than it is in T1.5, have people tested it at all? The 1xHearth Sliver and 4xVirulent Sliver kill or the Academy Rector, Accursed Centaur, Children of Korlis for Yawgmoth's Bargain and then Tendrils of Agony are both compact, and the tutoring and acceleration is even better.

You can build a Tier 1 Budget deck, no joke.
