I had a pretty basic question about the interaction between Bridge from Below and creatures hitting the graveyard in combat.  For instance, it's my turn and I announce an attack with a lone Ichorid; my opponent declares a block with a Goblin Welder and I have two Bridges in my graveyard.  Both the Ichorid and the Welder are dealt lethal damage so both die.  Do the two creatures simultaneously go to the graveyard or does mine go first since I'm the active player? I'm pretty sure that the bridges would get removed in this instance before I could get tokens.  Clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Bridge from Below
BBB
Enchantment
Whenever a nontoken creature is put into your graveyard from play, if Bridge from Below is in your graveyard, put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token into play.
When a creature is put into an opponent's graveyard from play, if Bridge from Below is in your graveyard, remove Bridge from Below from the game.

The creatures will die simulataneously, barring any first strike. Both triggers will happen at the same time, but since you control both of them, you decide the order that they will occur. If you stack the "RFG Bridge" and then the "Get guys" on top of that, you'll get a Zombie and then Bridge will be removed.

I'm pretty sure that's how it happens with one Bridge at least. Two Bridges may complicate it, but I don't think it does. I believe you can stack it so that they resolve in this order: Get a guy 1, Get a guy 2, RFG 1, RFG 2.

Yes, that's legal.

Note that, unlike with many other triggered abilities, the order is important here: if the RFG trigger is allowed to resolve first, the intervening-if clause in the token creation ability will see that the Bridge is no longer in your graveyard and you won't get the token.

Does it matter who initiates the attack or can I still stack it that way if I'm defending?

As long as you control the triggers, you're fine.
