This is basically an idea I've had floating in my head for a while, originally it was going to work with Cloudstone Curio but I soon realised how much better it would be to use Null Profusion.
Here's the current list:
Mana Base: 7 SoLoMoxen 1 Mana Crypt 1 Mana Vault 1 Lotus Petal 1 Library of Alexandria 1 Tolarian Academy 2 Polluted Delta 2 Flooded Strand 1 Bloodstained Mire 1 Watery Grave 4 Underground Sea
Draw/Tutor: 1 Ancestral Recall 4 Brainstorm 1 Yawgmoth's Bargain 1 Demonic Tutor 1 Vampiric Tutor 1 Tinker 1 Memory Jar 1 Windfall 1 Time Spiral 1 Frantic Search 3 Null Profusion
Storm Enablers: 4 Cloud of Faeries
Counters: 4 Force of Will 4 Mana Drain
Board Control: 1 Rebuild
Broken: 1 Dream Halls 1 Yawgmoth's Will 1 Mind's Desire 4 Show and Tell
The Kill: 2 Tendrils of Agony
There's the list! Now some card explanations.
Library of Alexandria - I often have at least 7 cards in hand early game or when I'm going off, so I can usually use Library to draw; the use of "free" spells such as Cloud of Faeries allows me to continually untap and re-use Library.
Windfall - A draw-7 that can often allow me to draw more than seven cards.
Time Spiral - While Timetwister is easier to play, Time Spiral allows me to untap lands, making it cheaper and often abusing Library of Alexandria and Tolarian Academy.
Frantic Search - A "free" draw spell which again is abusable with certain lands.
Null Profusion - The deck's draw engine. My mana curve is fairly low, so I can usually play out tons of spells and draw a lot of cards; this combined with the use of so many "free" spells makes Null Profusion so insane.
Cloud of Faeries - Nice synergy with Null Profusion, Tolarian Academy and Library of Alexandria while also being brilliant for increasing the storm count.
Mana Drain - This deck is a Drain deck; and as such it needs Mana Drain to give it a quick tempo boost to drop a bomb.
Rebuild - I'm hurt worse by Chalice@2 than @3, so I decided to use this to get around Stax pieces and Chalices rather than Hurkyl's Recall.
Dream Halls - I tend to have at least ten cards in hand while going off, so Dream Halls allows me to turn spare ones into fuel for others.
Show and Tell - I can put Dream Halls, Yawgmoth's Bargain, Null Profusion, Memory Jar and any of my lands into play with this; it's insane! Using it to drop a turn two Bargain is brutal and often game ending.
I did consider Timetwister, but I felt that as it thickens my library again, takes away cards for Yawgmoth's Will and doesn't even provide me with card advantage it isn't worth including at the moment. As mentioned above, I chose Windfall over it because it can usually give me more than seven cards.
The deck plays out much like a control deck early game, countering threats and building card advantage until turn three or four (sometimes only two, though!) when you drop a bomb and just win.
I don't really know what else to say about the deck for now so I'll leave it there at the moment. So, what do you think?
Comments, criticism and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
