It seems GWS Long might be more viable right now with the presence of Merchant Scroll + Gush decks. Pitch Long is good right now because FoW can counter a Chalice, but GWS Long makes up for the lack of answers to Chalice by running 3 global Artifact bounce effects.

I'm leaning towards Pitch Long right now, but everytime when I think about the current metagame, it seems GWS Long is the better metagame choice.

Keep in mind that I've never played vs. 4 gush GAT or Gush Tendrils, but I think that GWS Long will be the better deck for the matchup.

Duress seems really powerful vs. both in terms of shutting down their draw engine and overall development. To me it looks like if both players drew well, you'd be best off duressing their first draw spell (scroll, ancestral, or a brainstorm), hindering their overall development. Then if you run a bomb into a FoW and they are locked up for a while. Since all their comboing is reliant on chaining a bunch of small draw spells together, they'll have to get pretty lucky to combo out when down 2 draw spells from the duress and the pitched card.

The Blast and Extripate plan seems pretty effective vs. Gush Tendrils and still decent vs. GAT.
