I think this would be a good car for any keeper or monoblue deck. But perhaps it is to similar to Dark Confidant.

Is this a card you came up with as a suggestion for Stephen?  I've talked to him a few times for his card, and this is not something he ever mentioned to me.

While it might be a good idea and you're welcome to direct Stephen to this thread, can you please update it a bit more with your intent.  Also, if the card is not affiliated with him, please do not say so.

(For record, the only thing he has said officially was that he was intending to submit a blue card that bounced lands for mana.)

Why is Matt Hazard or someone else always chauffeuring you to every event? I guess you dont need a car, as you are the Prince of Vintage.    anyways, congrats on the win. No one deserves it more than you and this report was probably the best tournament report I've ever read for any format. Thanks for the best writing vintage has to offer.  You might have already mentioned this somewhere else, but had you won the invite to the invitational, what would your card submission had been?

Seems a bit overpowered to me, especially in non-eternal formats.

This is a good thread to do this.   I'll let the card creation moderators hold this contest.

Have the Card Creation Mods hold a contest for 5 different finalists.  Out of those finalists, I'll select my favorite for submission with the caveat that I reserve the right to select something else, but probably won't.   

I'll let you guys hold contest and so forth.   My only criteria is that unless the card is AWESOME, I'd like it to cost 2cc or less.   The most played cards cost 2 (Mage, Bob, etc).

As you play Mean Inned, choose a number.
Whenever a player plays a spell with converted mana cost equal to the selected number, counter it unless it's controller pays .

It's Dark Confidant's body with a weird Chalice/Nether Void thing on it. Should probably be worded with counters, but it reads better that way, I think.
