QFT His pants really have been pooped. And since I'm not going to be at the upcoming Meandeck Open for silly (i.e., relationship) reasons, I'll definitely try to make it to this.

Beers and lasagna will ensue after. Everyone from Ohio has been destroying Outback Steak House. Perhaps we can come to a compromise on which eatery to destroy after the tourney. Holla back.

Glad to hear that everybody is going to be at this event!
Also The Samite Dealer is flying in from the West Coast to play in this event. It should be a pretty savage time.

If anyone wants to meet up in Toledo and carpool hit me up. It could be sweet! We could all walk in like the beginning of this video.

This will be Patrick Chapin's first Type One tournament since 2002 where he destroyed Carl Winter playing "The Deck" with Gro!

@Twaun: Your terms are unacceptable. Only large amounts of italian goodness and booze are allowed to be consumed. @Samite Healer: Look forward to meeting, beating and then eating with you @Steven Q. Mennendian: Your supposed powers are ineffective in Michigan. @Franklin's Sister: I'm coming home baby; make room for daddy! Pac

Dizzle JD showed up just to play for fun and to try to let some people know that he's trying to sell the rest of his collection. He made top 4 with a dated deck (GWS Long) after not playing for at least 6 months. He also killed JR with a Demonfire in round 1. Insane!

top 8 was:
Jeff Anand: GroAtog Paul Mastriano: GroAtog Stephen Menendian: GroAtog Brian DeMars: Counterbalance Slaver Pacman: 5cStax Nam Tran: 5cStax Jeremy Richards: Tarmogoyf ? JDizzle: Long
There were almost 40 players.
4 Ichorids present. None made top 8. In six rounds of swiss I played 3 Ichorids. Flash scrubbed.
Metagame is what i expected: GAT as best deck. derf derf. I pwned JDizzle in the swiss pretty ridic.
Long can't possibly beat GAT without Xantids. GAT has the counterpower of MDGifts but with 4 Duress maindeck as well.
also: JR Goldman played BomberMOON. Evidently, Team Reflection has built Bomberman with Magus of the Moon's MD. FYI for Waterbury competitors.
Finally, GAT knocked out the Stax decks from the top 8.
So much for Stax beating GAT, eh?
With few exceptions, I can't understand why anyone would play anything but GAT.
