So I will be playing this tomorrow at a Beta Ruby tourney, as Team Vacaville siphoned off all my moxen and Drains.

7 proxy at the moment (most likely 10 proxy, but possibly 15 proxy).

This is a basic MUD Domination list, but with Serum Powders.

In goldfishing, I get a free hand of 7 a lot, and MetalWorkers are built-in Energy Flux Hosers.

At the moment, I am banking on not facing Null Rods in this relatively unknown meta.

Titan and Mindslaver are the only real quesionable slots in this build, as with no Welders, Mindslaver is a Time Walk for a mere 10 Mana, and Titan is a house against almost everything, but it still costs 8 instead of 2U.

There are only 2 Staff of Dominations because I own 2, and I am not banking on it (this is a Stax deck primarily), but I can proxy 2 more.

I am scared of the Flash/Slivers matchup, and a teammate will be playing it at the tourney, but despite it's brokenness, few people have picked it up like say GAT has been picked up.

The sideboard is what was laying around in my trade binder.

I have 3 proxies to work with.

I am open to having say, 6-7 Cities/Gemstone Mines in SB plus 5-6 colored hate cards. 4 Leylines of the Void are in there at the moment.

any last minute suggestions?

I will check this thread before entering the tourny.

Any feedback is appreciated, no matter how inane.

I've been playing mono black stax in msw almost religiously lately, and the only thing that gives me the edge a lot of the time is my 4 main leylines. I'm in a shop heavy meta and it's great against competing crucibles. With the amount of powder your running you might be able to get away with less than a 4 of, I'd try for a 2 of even though I haven't tested it. it would improve the flash match up you fear, you might be able to survive ichorid game 1,  and it turns GAT into grow (which seems better for you). If you end up trying this out obviously keep the other 2 in SB but I'm sure you know that.
with the amount of gush and other titans running around, i like platinum angel or dsc better right now. in your case, I'd go with the dsc, it's just more trample aggro and your not running welder anyways
I'd also bored powder keg. destroys ichorid, fish, dreadnought, and warrens if you see it. Set to one, its an additional threat to sliver flash that they need to deal with.
I've got no answer to the null rod, I've got the same problem, I've just been ramping smokestacks to deal with it, there's not that much I can do.

I am 80:20 against LordHomerCat, the word's 2nd best and on other days the world's best vintage player. Wink

Thanks!

As to DSC, 11 is a lot for a no Tinker Shop deck, but Lodestone Myr (a holdover from Heiner's TimeBandits list) is likely to make an appearance.

I would definetly keep the Sundering Titan.

There is a Shop Aggro Affinity deck that put 3 people in the top 8 around here. It's called crusher.  Not sure if that is the type of deck you are looking for, but it is a house against a lot of decks.  Not to mention it maindecks 3sphere, 2sphere, and tangle wire.
It can be tremendously fast, or just lock up the board until it wins.

But if that is not what you are looking for, I would then suggest going with what hvndr3d y34r h3x said about Powder Keg in the board.

Also, I would up the Staff of Domination count up to 4.  You can just combo out against a lot of decks. It is also funny against some storm decks, when you gain like 8 life in response to tendrils or something.  Not to mention it is a draw engine and it untaps your Metalworker, to cast Sundering Titan or something.

My 2 cents.

I've always preferred some amount of Null Brooch in the mono-brown archetype. Even moreso if you aren't planning on running a dedicated draw engine, since you lose so little when countering.
