The Oracle wording of Mirror Strike is as follows (emphasis mine): Target unblocked creature deals combat damage to its controller instead of to you this turn.

What happens if you cast Mirror Strike on a creature attacking one of your team mates or if you are forced to cast it on your own attacking creature while under the influence of Mindslaver?

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

Mirror Strike sets up a replacement effect that replaces a specific event.  If the unblocked creature isn't dealing damage to YOU (the person who played Mirror Strike), then the event will not match what Mirror Strike's effect is looking to replace, so the replacement effect will not apply.
