Foul Creed 1 Sorcery Search your library for a black card, reveal it and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library. Pay half your life, rounded up. Nature's Call 1 Sorcery Search your library for a green creature card, reveal it and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library. Enchanter's Presence 1 Sorcery Search your library for a white enchantment card, reveal it and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library. Just finishing up the cycle

Somebody tell Chapin how counterbalance works?

I don't like these Merchant Scroll spin-offs at all. I think the black one would be an immediate problem, and as has been noted already, we should really be careful with creating tutors of any sort.

Not everything needs to be a cycle. I'm strongly in favor of not making these cards. Taking a card that is sometimes called to be banned and making a cycle out of it seems poor.

The black one basically says: "Search you desck for Yawgmoth's Will. You win the game." This is wrong on so many levels...

The black scroll is the fing nuts. It might not get lotus, but it grabs Will, necro, and tendrils for only 2 mana.....that's just not fair when you're playing rituals. Rituals may be on the outs right now, but they'll eventually make their way back to tier 1 and you wouldn't want to give them a card like this to play around with when then do come back.

I wasn't really sure how to constrict the black one's power though. Historically Red = Sorcery, Green = Creature, White = Enchantment, Blue = Instant, Black = Anything at a cost. I thought about it, but if you get a ritual your paying 3 life to add 2 storm so that's not huge. Getting Will is huge. However the blue one seems to be the most broken This is a less good grim tutor because of lack of finding targets such as recall, black lotus, draw 7's and worse comes to worse restrict it like every other tutor

The Black one is actually extremely weak. It is broken in T1 because of Yawgmoth's Will but absolutely unplayable in the other formats. A lot of fair or bad cards become problems in T1, once again because of Yawgmoth's Will.
The White one is weak too, Enchantments are usually not widely played and White ones even less. It can find Solitary Confinement or Glare of Subdual, so why not. While White is known for its Enchantments, the most powerful Enchantments are Green, Black (Pernicious Deed, Greater Good, Zombie Infestation) or Blue (Opposition).
The Green one seems playable on Casual level, but is very slow for competitive play. And Green creatures are not very played either except for acceleration, and Turn 2 Nature's Call for a Turn 3 Birds of Paradise is not impressive.
Overall, a nice idea but a weak cycle overall.

I've never been a fan of cards that are strictly better than other cards, but Nature's Call vs. Eladamri's Call?

1G Sorcery that only gets Green creatures versus GW Instant? It's not a fair comparison.

I don't like the idea of a tutor cycle. Especially not a very cheap one. It's five fairly uninteresting cards that are going to be either terrible or broken, most of which are out of colour.
