What's the Ideal Date for Vintage tournaments?

I ask for feedback from players and TO's what's your 'ideal' date for a tournament anytime in the year? Assuming cost/tourney clashes/etc wasn't an issue and the goal was simply to get the maximum number of people to show up.

Sometime during the summer, fig there are a lot of players in school. Knock off major vacation weekends also, this means no memorial / 4th / or Labor Day. Other then that, I suppose I'd try not to conflict with Waterbury/Gencon. After that, try not to conflict with any major PTQ's. Can't be a whole lotta weekends left after that. Oh, add in Sat over sunday, which allows people with M-F jobs not to worry about having to get home early.
