Blank decksheets will be provided and decklists are required for each event. For your convenience, you can download a blank decklist form here and fill it out at home.
[Time] For each tournament, registration begins at 10 AM and play begins at 11 AM.
[Location] Tournaments will be held at the Eudemonia store: 2154 University Ave, Berkeley, CA. Downtown Berkeley BART is two blocks away.
[Entry Fee] The entry fee is $25 for each tournament except the last. The entry fee is $30 for the final Black Lotus tournament, except for those that win free entry from placing in previous tournaments. The entry fee also includes two free hours of computer time at Eudemonia for the day of the event.
[Prizes] First place receives the prize advertised for that event. For the first eight tournaments, second place will receive free entry to the Black Lotus tournament along with a first round bye.* Additional prizes will also be awarded to second through eighth place at each event, and a prize will be awarded at random to one player each round. *If the second place finisher has already received a first round bye for the Black Lotus tournament in this series, they will be awarded an additional bye, for a maximum of two round byes.
[Proxying] The tournament format will be Type 1 with up to 10 proxies allowed. Any deck containing proxies must be sleeved with opaque plastic sleeves. Proxies must easily be recognizable as the card they represent from the face, and must be made such that they are not easily recognizable from the back or when shuffling the deck. Contact the store if you have further questions about the proxy policy.
[Cancellation] With the exception of the final Black Lotus tournament, if fewer than eight players register for a tournament, it may be cancelled.
