sure, against non-reactive decks like Stax or FCG or something like that, LED is absolutely better than Petal, but against blue based decks, what if the spell you played before youīve broken the LED in response gets countered?
most times I would prefer Lotus Petal or Dark Ritual in the first stack. When do you use LED in your Doomsday Stacks?
I think your list consisted of 10 pitch counters and no discard mainboard, so isnīt LED too risky?
If you play discard before you sac the LED, well, then you might know if itīs wise to use LED or not, but in your deck, I canīt imagine you use the combo this way against a blue-based deck, if there would be another, safer, but more difficult way.
Well, other than Unmask, you're right. Not much discard in my list back then (But with Flash in my meta, I'm back to running Duress.). I'm just lucky to play against not-so-savvy players who say "good" when I play Y. Will before I even give them priority, ergo allowing me to tell them I still have priority and saccing LED in response. But yeah, you can't count on that all the time...
