I was wondering if anyone could tell me of a  {U} or  {R} beater for under 3 mana, possibly 2 mana. I'm looking for something like Tarmogoyf or Jotun Grunt, but it must be  {U} or  {R}. Thanks.

Just use Gatherer.

Off the top of my head, the only large blue or red men for cheap have completely crippling drawbacks. Imaginary pet, Okk, etc. Blue and red creatures have traditionally been used for their utility, not their size. Well, outside of Goblins anyway. Piledriver is quite the beater in the right deck.

It'd help to know what deck you're trying to fit these in as well, although that'd require a post in another forum, not here.

2U is the best you're gonna get for low cost beaters, specifically serendib and sea drake

Hunted Phantasm and/or Vexing Sphinx may fit the bill, too. In the Red corner, you have Veteran Brawlers, Craven Giant, Lavacore Elemental, Avatar of Discord, although most of those are weak options.

Thanks a lot. I guess I don't need a beater that bad. If I do, I'll just splash  {G} for goyfs lol.

There's Mogg Flunkies. 1R for a 3/3 that can't attack or block alone. I'm not sure if that's a drawback in your deck or not.

Dandan!

You also have the classic Sligh creatures (Jackal Pup, Goblin Cadets) and their new friend Tattermunge Maniac. Newer options also include Gathan Raiders and Keldon Marauders. Oh, and Countryside Crusher.
