It is MTG time again for Northern OHIO! Thats right, Magic The Gathering has come back to The HeroZone.

June 28, 2008

The Hero Zone
127 E. Market St.
Sandusky, OH
419-621-0282
www.theherozone.com

All tournaments are full-proxy, and everyone who enters will get a free premium or signed card or proxy just for signing up!

June 28, 2008
Registration - 12 noon
Tournament - 1 pm
Cost - $15
Prize - Full cash money payout of entry fees to top four! Get Tha Carter III with your winnings.
1st: 50%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 10%
4th: 10%

The metagame will be open to innovation since the great raping of 6/20 will have taken place. Plus, the RIW time walk tourney is the day after so everyone can stay at my house, rock out, and hit up another tourney.

Will the Michiganders make there way down?
Will Nam Q. Tran release some new Team Reflection tech?
Will Jerry Yang destroy the metagame?
Will the great deck designer Gustin show up with some new creation.

There is only one way to find out.......and that is to show up.

This will be a great time for sure!

Does anyone have room for the PGH crew Saturday night?

The Michiganders will be in attendance as far as I know. Don't screw it up for us by playing Price of Glory Twaun.

This will be the first tourney in Ohio with the new B@R list so come on down to the HeroZone and get your decks prepared for vintage champs.
BOOM!

T Minus 7 days and counting.

These tourneys are insane!
Full Cash Payout!
Big Named Players galore!
MTG Theory in every conversation!
Super friendly atmosphere.

Oh yeah, is there anyone from Michigan going that could swing by my crib and pick me up? I am not allowed to drive cause I smoked some phoo in the streets with my MAC-10.

This just shows how ignorant some posters are about the metagame.  I played Confidant Combo (GWSx/BHWW Tendrils) and took 2nd, losing to grimlong.   What else was in the top 4, ichorid and BOMBERMAN.

Just for the record i was using sarcasm to show ignorance glad you are intelligent enough to realize that. Hahahaha obviously grim long is the best deck in the format as it stands right now. However with a little thought hopefully people will be creative enough to come up with more competitive decks to diversify the metagame.

Our "Ohio" metagame is stocked with rogue wizardry. Mages such as Yangtime(human number crunching machine), Snoop Trogg(Workshop innovator), Guhstin(MBC master and technician), and Nartmann99(Smokestack ramper extraordinaire). I can promise that this tourney will be chock full of rogue spell casting. Lets not forget the crews that come in from Michigan and Pittsburgh too.  We keep it gangsta!

For real though, I seriously need a ride to this thing. Who is going to hook it up?

Sorry man, I won't be able to make it again.  My new job takes me out of town a lot and I'll be in Oklahoma this week.  Hopefully next time.

This thing is tomorrow. Mandatory bump.

-Come test your spell slinging skills against Snoop Trogg, Yangtime, and Nartman!
-The famous Eddy Brain will be in attendance!
-Come enjoy the post tourney breakfast at Berardi's. We will be meeting there between 11:00 and 11:30. Yangtime claims they have the best fries this side of the Mississippi!
-Full Cash Payout to top 4!

BOOM!

11 vintage wizards sowed up to do battle. In the end Eddy "The Brain" Blystone and Nam Q. Tran split in the finals. I'll post decklists and more info when I get back home from the RIW tourney. If your close to Michigan go to RIW!
