I am for sure making the trip west to Chicago to play in the Vintage event.  However, I have taken quite a shine to the casual format Peasant Highlander.  I am hoping to battle some games against some Vintage players at Worlds, so if you have a deck or would consider building one that would be just awesome.  Here are the rules for those who are not familiar with them.

150 card deck
Legacy Banned List
Every card except basic land is restricted to one copy per deck.
Max of 30 uncommons, the rest must be common or basic land.
If a card has multiple rarities in different sets it may be used as the least common one.  (for instance, Rewind is an Uncommon in eighth edition, but is a common in Urza's Saga.  Therefore, it can be counted as a common and not an Uncommon slot.)
We use Scrye magazine to determine the rarities of cards--just so that we have a common point of reference.  Also, Scrye still lists all of the U1, U2, C1, C2 rarities from sets like Arabian Nights, Antiquities, and Chronicles.  Since those sets don't have "Rares" the U1s are fair game for uncommon slots.

And that is the rules.

Any questions feel free to send me a PM.  Hopefully, there will be enough people to have some interesting games.  I know it was an unreal blast playing in the Peasant Highlander tournament at the 4xworkshop tournament in CT.

Cheers, see you in Chicago!
