Other than fast combo i.e. Long and Ichorid, what general strategies are good against CS? Lots of Duress effects, countermagic, Spheres, what?

The updated version at the bottom of page 1 with either Null Rods or Pithing Needles should do the trick nicely.

ICBM Oath was built years ago to obliterate Slaver and post-restrictions it does the job quite handily.

Try Grimlong, that's usually pretty good against slaver...

The most efficient way to beat Slaver is and always has been a Null Rod backed by fast beats. Whether this is Oath or even RG Beats they can't handle it. Mana denial is that deck's biggest weakness.

I got steam rolled by Urbana Fish at the RIW tourney last Sunday. To reinforce what everyone stated before, CS has a hard time dealing with Aggro Control.

I can't bring myself to play Oath without Brainstorm.  Perhaps I'm just unlucky, but I always seem to draw one of the dudes.

That really depends on your build of CS.  If you are running pyroclasm in the side and 7/10 main, the matchup is pretty good for CS.  Also, if you are running Burning Wish to grab Pyroclasm, your matchup gets even better.

As a CS player, the only card I fear in Fish is Null Rod.  If they resolve Null Rod, its hard to win the game.  Without Null Rod, Fish really doesn't seem to have much game.

Null Rod and Fast Combo are the two things that can beat Slaver consistently.
