So, in this new metagame, it seems that Null Rod would be a house again.  Noticing that some of the more popular decks run 4 extra moxen, Grindstone as a win, Time Vault + Tezz, and mindlsaver. I also felt that the best way to go with this is to run Ur Landstill.

For consideration, here is a list...

Lands
4 Volcanic Island
1 Steam Vents
4 Flooded Strand
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
2 Island
4 Mishra's Factory
3 Faerie Conclave
1 Library of Alexandria

Artifact
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Ruby
4 Null Rod
1 Crucible of Worlds

Instant
1 Ancestrall Recall
4 Force of Will
4 Stifle
4 Mana Drain
3 Misdirection
2 Echoing Truth
1 Chain of Vapor
4 Fire/Ice

Sorcery
1 Time Walk

Enchantment
4 Standstill

Sideboard
2 Pyroclasm
3 Threads of Disloyalty
4 Chalice of the Void
3 Rack and Ruin
3 Red Elemental Blast

I believe that, if there were a time for a deck like this to truly shine, it would be in a metagame like this.  One that relies on artifacts as a win condition would seem to be hard to beat a deck full of counters + Null rod.

The other option I was thinking of was Urbana Fish. The deck is great, with duress, bob, null rod, fows, etc. the deck seems to pack a lot of disruption.

Here is a list..

Urbana Fish (Moxlotus)
Manas: 24
5 strip
6 fetch
3 Sea
3 Volc
1 Island
1 Badlands
4 Mox
1 Lotus

Dudes: 16
4 Bob
4 Cursecatcher
3 Ninja
3 Monkey
2 Bouncer

Other: 20
1 recall
1 Walk
3 Rod
4 Force
4 Duress
2 Stifle
2 Spell Snare
2 REB
1 Shattering Spree

SB:
4 Threads of Disloyalty
4 Goblin Welder
2 REB
3 BEB
2 Spell Snare

The deck utilizes Null rod, while disrupting and putting pressure on their opponents.

So in conclusion, I believe that this is a time for Null Rod to shine.
