I was talking with a friend about that sideboard last night; it was the topic of some entertaining AIM chat. As far as fireblast is concerned, I would just chalk it (as well as a few other sideboard choices) up to poor theory testing.

The results had been posted on morphling.de for a few days and I couldn't help but mention european torunaments and their affinity for repeal.

1st: 3   2nd: 4   3rd-4th: 3   5th-8th: 3, 3

That is 16 out of a possible 32 folks. Get rid of your foils while they're hot.

There's guys in the LCV tournaments (and other catalan tournaments, like Team Pataners) that they have some super secret techs. One of the most famous techs used by a famous player here is to include a Tendrils of Agony in his Workshop sideboard, and he ALWAYS leaves it visible to his opponents in game 1 I've seen people mulligan and then get raped by Workshop + Sphere xDDDD. So yeah, the Fireblast thing might be another trick to make you believe his playing burn LOL.
