I think for the upcoming legancy tournament in march, that I will play merfolk. I'm not sure though which kind to play. There seems to be a few different builds out there; mono blue, u/w, u/g with goyf, and mono blue with dreadnought. On deckcheck, I've notced that most of the merfolk lists coming in first in large tournaments have all been mono blue for the most part. Right now, I'm leaning towards mono blue, but I can see the advantages of the u/w build, maily due to swords. Any comments would be appricated. I'm still rather new to legancy, so my assumations could be wrong. Also, if someone could explane why a u/w merfolk list would have stifles and armagondon in the side board, that would be much appricated.
