With all of the MTG/Proxies drama, I just want to say how much I love the art of altared and proxied cards, and how much I feel they add to the casual yet competetive Vintage proxy environment I so love.

Some of you know I make shitty YouTube videos of MTG related stuff. In this case, proxied and altered cards.  The music is by me, made in about '98 or so. The pics are from the last month or so on SCG's proxy thread.

I always dreamed of editing together slices of all the classic zombie movies into a video for this song, but frankly, I don't know how with my budget( $0).

But I am perfectly happy to substitute these fine works of art into a proxy video (Get it? I can't afford real zombie flick scenes, don't have the means, but I can substitute in these custom works of art in it's stead, and I'm happy even if it isn't officially real?)

Anyways, enjoy!

All criticism of music good or bad welcomed! Public or by PM!

[/attention whoring]

I just am really excited about the internet's ability to make almost anything happen! I want to broadcast a vid to the world now? Click: Done.  Weird times we live in.

Enjoy.

After numerous viewings now I have to say the tune hasn't gotten old yet.  I tend to like most of the universal language as long as it moves me somehow.  I suppose if the song made me feel like moving myself to go and get some good drugs, than...cool! (not that I did/didn't)

Aw.. the Net.

On the side, some of those alts are Gorgeous!, I especially like the ones that explode of the card like the Guttural Response!  I'd play it (them) just because. (and some of the Bayous while I'm at it, and some of the, and some..)

The proxies can be awesome also but I think it is somewhat against the core of the magic and to wizards.  I just never feel like playing against 60 cards of chicken scratch, which happens.  There should be an availability to the format though.  Has WotC ever held an auction?  I was thinking in person but computer should work also (Not Ebay).  People could submit proxies to go to the highest binder, one of a kinds.  I think it could add a good dynamic to the game for different reasons, but most of all vintage avalabilitie.  People want the cards already, and need proxies, so why not get them all into one place and integrate them this way?  Both side would get benefits.

Thanks for the kind words.  The music was made by doing the drum machine/proccessor thing while "in the zone", and adding guitar later.  I would have done more with the song, but I had a 4-track tape player and that's that. I DO have "Flight of the Zombie" on my computer and that will come up soon.  There is so much proxy/altered cards pics out there to fill up vid space!
