I'd love to know what the matchups were for the Oath deck.
I haved played Oath in BB. Even with a traditional Oath list it's damn difficult to beat the BB Shop decks like Evan's. They pack Spheres and a lot of Oath hate.
The top 8 Oath list packs very little anti-Shop protection main or SB. I can't see the TOA plan helping much if a Sphere is out and the deck has very few options to bounce them.
Also, ETutor, Hymns and Tinker without a major target? Please explain.

Even was my only loss in swiss and in the top eight.The top eight match was a good match but i made a huge play error .As for the s.b it was a quick list that was bad and just put together. all i played in bb that day was shop. I played Andy ,who just won the Philly tourney,and the outcome was very good for me. the only other deck types i remember playing was a tps type and r/g aggro.The discard honestly let me roll through most of the matches . The oath part is great,but it plays like tps just as easy. The deck has been tinkered with alot from that day to now.the board is much better and has a few main deck changes as well.

So if you played mostly against Shop then did you just concede Game 1's where Shop decks usually resolve an early Sphere or Thorn? Or where you able to handle them with EEs? I can understand that you lost to Evan twice since that deck packs tons of Oath and Storm hate.
I can see the discard helping against Shop only if you go first. Ditual -> Hymn + Duress. But, usually if they go first they can empty most of their hand quickly.

the EE's were a godsent everytime i used them.!!!!!!!!!! But even with a first turn +1 artifact oath only costs 2,so paying 3 or even4 mana is not that bad. The rits also helped a ton just for the one extra they would produce with a +1artifact in play.With the angel and hellkite aka bossman,it only takes 2 turns to win.So i got time and a bit of life to spare.As i said befor there has been work done to my deck so its more balanced now. I will say that shop is a hard match up but no where near impossible to beat. As for Even, in my opinion its not the deck or the hate in it Even is a good and smart player.

Evans shop list looks very beatable with oath. Spheres should never be an issue for a traditional oath deck, and naturalize seal, and duplicants are not going to get them there. Honestly this top8 looks like a great field to play oath in. All of those matchups are very winnable.

with no disrespect to Even when we played in the top 8 ............
first game: I won turn 2 after a first turn necro.
second game: Even had a solid lock on me from the start and after a small fight beat me down.
third game : Even won no contest after i forgot to drop a l.o.t.v and use my hand to rit rit duress l.o.t.v..... after i mulled to six.
Do i think i could of won ,sure but shit happens.
As i said before hes a good and smart player,and as far as i know number there in BB points. So a loss to him just helps me learn.
