So I've been rocking the beard since September and there's a decent chance I may just stick with it as a 'look' for now.  Commitment brings up the issue of a more systematic means to grooming.  I've been using conventional razors and the occasional trip to the barber shop as ad hoc, but I'd like to buy clippers.

Having been to tournaments and seen the hordes of shaggy vintage players, I figure some of you guys must have tips on which brands/models are the good way to go.

Thanks for the input.

My daddy never tought me how to shave.  I've just had to wing it these last 20 years

The first time I shaved was in Basic Training, so as not to get noticed.

Good luck!

Oh, I have a beard (Iron-jaw) for about half the year, and the other half I shave it off.

The one time that my parents bought me an electric shaver of beard maintenence, I shaved by beard the day before for xmas.
