I really like Dragon Sleeves. The Japanese KMC's are good if you can find them. NEVER touch Ultra Pro.

DragonShields- Blue and Black are the only ones that last an extended period of time. Whites pick up dirt like no other, gold get grey, and the other colors were just too weird for me to try.

One of my playtest partners managed to tear a few black dragonshields apart by accident, are kmc better? or is he just waaay too rough on the cards?

I love Dragon Shields, they are the only ones I'll buy if available.
If you find you sleeves getting dirty and sticky really fast, as much as I hate to say it you should use a playmat. It will extend their life by quite a bit (even if you're just testing) as tables tend to be pretty dirty and hard on sleeves.

Gunmetals. They last easily 10 times longer than any other kind of sleeve I've ever used.

I too ama fan of Dragon Shields for indestructibility, however, I've bought some bad batches (not all cut to the same length), so now I go with KMC (japanese sleeves). Not as awesome, but reliable cut and fun to shuffle.

But thanks for the help, anyone know a website where i can get kmc's? (which will ship to europa (denmark)) Our local store only have ultra pro. /Zeus

What's wrong with Ultra-pro? I use them all the time and don't seem to have a problem (actually they are the only ones being sold in stores here) they also have by far the coolest artwork if you care at all how your deck looks. I'm currently rocking the Black Lotus sleeves.

I don't know what you people are doing to your sleeves, but even the crappy $3 for 50 packs of crap sleeves last me a while. Granted, they're usually just for draft decks, but if I'm using DragonShields, or KMC's, or even newer Ultra Pros (either the Magic backs, or matte finish) then they last for pretty much forever.
I've never understood people who complain so much about the quality of sleeves - unless you're getting ones that are cut to different lengths. DragonShield is notorious for that.

DragonShields were, for quite a long time, the only ones who consistently were more than 1/8th of an inch longer than your cards. Moreover, because of the universal bend, they would shuffle far more easily, and therein, break far less often. That being said, as time has gone on, it seems the other manufacturers have started to learn what the cardplaying populace wants, so it's possible today Ultra Pros are as good as DS's. I don't know, I haven't used them in years. I do know for certain that I've had very good experiences with DragonShields, especially the black and blue colored sleeves.
