Hi guys.

I'm getting ready for my first vintage tournament. I had a suicide black deck, but my friends (and basically everyone on the internet) tells me that suicide black is pretty much out right now. This was my old deck list:

Deck #1 Sui Black
4 Bob
4 Negator
4 Shade
4 Hippie

4 Duress
4 Hymn
4 Sinkhole
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Yawg Will

4 Wasteland
1 Stripmine
1 Jet
1 Lotus
Lots of swamps

I thought it was pretty good. Looking through my cards, I found I can easily build one of two decks without too big of an investment, both seem to be somewhat competitive in vintage... This is where you come in:

Deck #1, Nether Void

4 Sinkhole
3 Nether Void
4 Duress
4 Hymn (Should this be Thoughtseize given the lack of graveyard hate?)
4 Powder Keg

4 Hypnotic Specter (Again, no grave hate. Random discard, a good idea for me?)
3 Phyrexian Negator

1 Demonic Tutor
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Yawg Will
1 Necropotence

4 Ritual
1 Jet
1 Lotus
14 Swamps
1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
4 Rishadan Port (Or Mishra's Factories.)

This deck looks like it would be a blast to play. But I don't want to build it if I'm going to get wiped every game. Very Happy

Deck #3 Mono Black Rack

4 Mishra's Factory
1 Maze of Ith
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
5 Swamp
4 The Rack
4 Hypnotic Specter
2 Extirpate
4 Mind Twist
4 Dark Ritual
4 Dark Confidant
4 Diabolic Edict
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Sinkhole
1 Mox Jet
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Sensei's Divining Top
1 Black Lotus

Again, this LOOKS like it would work. I saw this exact decklist get 5th in a tournament in ottawa, so I figure it can't be that bad.

I understand that a large part of winning in Magic is... Well... Being good at it. I understand that buying the best deck won't necessarily make me place well. However, if I have to spend cash on a deck, I'd rather get one that is a good future investment. Something that I can consistently build on, while gaining tournament experience and not getting stomped.

So... I ask:

Which of these decks do you think have the brightest future?

Thank you in advance for any help you guys can give me!

What's your metagame consist of? It's hard to tell which one is better without knowing which decks you'll face. Also some of the cards you're using are a bit out of date (I'm thinking of Sinkhole, Hymn, The Rack, and Mind Twist). Here's my ideas for your proposed decklists.
Suicide Black:
Creatures: 14
4 Bob
4 Negator
3 Shade
3 Hyppie

Disruption: 22
4 Leyline of the Void
2 Crucible of Worlds
4 Duress
4 Null Rod
4 Chalice of the Void
4 Ill-Gotten Gains (combos really well with Leyline, making your opponent remove their entire hand from the game, while you get 3 cards back from your yard.)

Mana Acceleration: 4
4 Dark Ritual

Tutors:
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor

Lands: 18
3 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
14 Swamp

Deck 2: Nether Void (you should check out my B/G Nether Void deck here too: http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=37237.0 )
2 Crucible of Worlds
3 Nether Void
4 Hymn
4 Thoughtseize
2 Powder Keg
4 Null Rod
4 Leyline of the Void/Tormod's Crypt
2 Mana Web

3 Hypnotic Specter
3 Phyrexian Negator
2 Bob

1 Demonic Tutor
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Yawg Will
1 Necropotence

4 Ritual
1 Jet
1 Lotus
10 Swamps
1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
4 Mishra's Factory
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Deck 3: The Rack
I recommend splashing green so that you can take advantage of the Life from the Loam + Raven's Crime combo
4 Bayou
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
5 Swamp
4 Polluted Delta

4 The Rack
2 Hypnotic Specter
4 Extirpate
4 Tarmogoyf
2 Mind Twist
4 Dark Ritual
4 Dark Confidant

4 Duress
4 Raven's Crime
4 Life from the Loam
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Mox Jet
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Black Lotus
