Duelist -   Creature - Human samurai Exalted 1, flanking 1, bushido 1 Provoke 2/2 I got the idea from my thread in the community forum....(the thread was about the morphlings  ) The idea is a duelist who picks a fight with the opponents creatures. 1 on 1 this card can kill a 5/5 creature...Seems pretty good! I'm not sure if is too much or too little? It's almost a walking abyss. I wanted it to be a "duelist" but unfortunetly only samurai seems to be allowed to have bushido. Changed into this: Duelist - Legendary Creature - Human Knight Flanking 1, First strike Provoke 3/2 /Zeus |

I wanted it to be a "duelist" but unfortunetly only samurai seems to be allowed to have bushido. And only knights are allowed to have Flanking. |

Hmm forgot about the flanking issues.
I just think the card itself would be great...But i see that the flavor dosn't work...any way of fixing this or should i get this post deleted?

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

This would be great, but too bad WW rarely plays anything over ><. How about instead of Bullshido and Exalted and Flanking, you give it Double Strike? The reason I suggest this is because as a former WW player, I would never play anything over that was less than a 3/2. With creatures, they need to have solid abilities and have power equal or greater than its CC or else it would be a subpar card. Think of why Paladin en-Vec cannot be played. I agree if you give it Double Strike it should be legendary. |

Problem with double strike at 1WW is that it would immediately look a very lot like the 1/1 flying double-strike (skirmisher?). I would stay clear of double strike.

It's rather bad form to say "WW will never play this card so it shouldn't be printed".
Also, I'm pretty sure you should pick one of Exalted, Bushido, Flanking and not the rest. The three abilities do different things but seem similar; there's too much confusion caused by having all three.

Not sure I agree. Good, probably, but still. If you have him alone, it's a 2/2 first striker for 4 - bad. With another creature, you got a 4/4 first striker for 4 - normal With 2 other creatures, you now have a 6/6 first striker for 4, it's getting good, BUT, your other creatures cannot attack with it. Alternately, any other creature you have will be at least 3/4 when swinging alone, which is also good but, all this seems conditional to me. It also forces you to overexpand. Of course, in casual or with some sort of token deck, it could be stupid. I don't think it's any better than Mystic Enforcer as it is. Good design though, I still like the card, but I would probably just make it a 2/2 and forget the whole */* thing. |

Bearing in mind the flavour of a master duelist, I think it's failrly accurate; Irina, in this context, the 'Exalted' thing makes sense, in that duels are always fought one-on-one, and the fact that her reputation increases the more things are around (to watch) plays into the p/t-setting ability. Note that she can still be hit (lack of Shroud) and isn't indestructible. I fell that's it's favourful without being broken. |

I really like it. The power level is a little high, but I think White having a marquee rare that is a guy that attacks would be pretty awesome.
