Apparently nobody likes this deck, but I won a Ruby with it on Sunday. The event was only 13 people, But I beat very solid players. My deck was very greedy, and I drew extremely well, but I do think this deck has potential.

3 Underground Sea
1 Badlands
1 Bloodstained Mire
4 Polluted Delta
2 Island
2 Swamp
5 Moxes
1 Mana Crypt
1 Sol Ring
1 Black Lotus
1 Lotus Petal
1 Lions Eye Diamond
1 Windfall
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Timetwister
1 Mind's Desire
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Necropotence
4 Dark Ritual
3 Cabal Ritual
3 Tendril's of Agony
4 Dark Confidant
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
1 Ponder
1 Brainstorm
1 Rebuild
1 Chain of Vapor
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 DAZE
4 Duress
1 Sensei's Divining Top
----
3 Xantid Swarm
1 Bayou
3 Extirpate
1 Tormods Crypt
4 Leyline of the Void
1 IGG
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 Rebuild

Here's a mini-report.

R1: LHC Grow-a-Bad-deck
Game 1, I Mull to 6 and keep a hand of bombs + Lotus. LHC Duresses me, and takes lotus. I draw a Black Mana Source (Jet), and on his end step I vampiric tutor for Dark Ritual. On my turn, I dark ritual, cast Demonic Consultation (for Dark Ritual), and reveal 2 on my first 6. Great, I thought. Dark Ritual was my last card! I still am able to cast another Dark Ritual, and play poker by casting Yawgmoth's Will. It resolves, and I cast both Vampiric and Consultation out of my yard for +2 storm, and Tendrils is in my hand.
Game 2: My hand is Solid. He duresses me turn 1, forces my Confidant on turn 2, Drains my Xantid Swarm on Turn 3, and I still consult again for dark ritual, and play Necropotence. I dispose of my opponent on turn 4.

R2: Jon Donovan Bug
Game 1 I open Lotus, Cabal Ritual, Dark Confidant, Underground Sea, Necropotence. He opens Sapphire, Jet, Duress, Ancestral, Wasteland. He has a force to stop my turn 2 attempt, and another duress. The game goes on for awhile, and I stick a confidant. On his end step,I draw 2 to my Necro, then chain it. I Flip a mana to confidant, and draw my card. I do nothing, and draw 2 more, passing back. I am then able to kill him on the next turn.

Game 2 he does what his deck does, and locks me out with cursecatchers + Denial I was 1 mana short.

Game 3: I mulligan to 5 while he mulls to 6. My hand is LED, Dark Ritual x2, Mana Crypt, and Demonic Tutor. Turn 1 I say go, and he looks at me funny. and plays delta go. I draw a bayou! I decide to go all in. Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Mana Crypt, Demonic sacking Lotus Eye Diamond for UUU. So I've got BBBBUUU in pool, and Demonic Tutor. I get will and cast it. BBBU, Lotus Eye for UUU, 2 rituals, and I have BBBBBBBUUUU. I go for Demonic, and think "hmmm... his deck plays Stifle." I get the Twister, and sure enough, he shows the stifle (while everyone is laughing). I draw 7, and I HATE THIS PLAY with TPS, but this deck is so consistant, I would have been fine with bob x2, duress, and something else. Unfortunately for Jon, I hit rituals, a duress, a consultation, and a recall. Consult hits tendrils after I duress and Recall, and I tendrils him with 14 black mana still floating, as well as 2 blue.

Round 3: Owen Turtenwald TPS
Game 1 I turn 2 him.
game 2 I tendrils'ed him to 4 turn 1, and had a second tendrils, but he duressed it out. He jars me and I would have Topdecked Will. Sad He tinkered a Quickie Mart, and passes turn. I go to my turn as his jar was awful, and I rip the Ill Gotten Gains I sided in. SWEET! I cast it, and he forces it. He bashes me for multiple turns as I keep drawing Fire off the top of my deck, and getting it fowed.
Game 2: I have a lotus, a pearl, an island and my hand has Recall, ponder, brainstorm, nad top in it. I kepe, and after a turn of resolving insane spell, I have 0 black sources and all black cards. We play Draw go for a ton of turns, and finally Owen casts twister with 5 black in pool. He plays Academy, and burns for 5. I duress him, and he has 5 mana sources and Fow. I take force, and kill him easily in my next turn. Unlucky Break

Round 4: ID

Top 4: Jamison Bryant StickyIcky
Game 1 he wins the roll, and I have a turn 2 twister. Unforutnately, he has double bazaar, and therapies me and Kills me before I get a 2nd turn.
game 2: I open lotus petal, Dark Ritual, Mystical Tutor, IGG, and 3 leylines. He never recovers, and I eventually kill him.
game 3 I keep ponder, vamp, lotus, mystical, lotus petal, land, land and he plays chalice at 0. and no bazaar. Through the game, He's not applying Pressure (i'm told later he had 2 answer's to leyline in hand). I eventually bounce his chalice @ 0 and Chalice @ 1 he played, even though I overthought a play and almost punted. But I still have Recall, Brainstorm, and cast desire for lethal.

Finals: Manuel Fernandez with Tezz
Game 1 he wins the roll, and plays Land, mox not-sapphire, pass. I play Jet, Duress (he has TFK and FOF, only 3 mana available next turn, and no counter, so I take  is TFK), and then I play Sea, Recall. He Draws Academy for his turn, and plays it and Tormods Crypt, and passes turn. I Upkeep mystical for tendrils. I cast Dark Ritual, which he responds to with his last non-mana card: fact or fiction. He hits no force, and I cast Dark Ritual, CAbal Ritual, and a land, and Tendrils him x2. He exclaimed "oh man, you run two tendrils!". If he only knew.

Game 2 he plays mana on his turn, and I play Necropotence on mine. This is another unfair game, as I have Turn 2 Desire for 8 with mana available and Yawgmoth's Will in hand, but as he didn't counter several Key spells, I just cast will, and end up desiring for 14 instead. Tendrils is card #7.

So with a little Luck on my side, and playing a deck I'm confidant in (ha, get it?), I walk away with a Mox Ruby.

Apparently nobody likes this deck,
So not true and you know it!

Congrats on your finish. What are your thoughts on this deck's Meditate Remora and Workshop matchup?

The workshop Match-up is insane because I can play around/through chalices pretty easily, and I play 3 bounce spells, and dark confidants.  You should know what the workshop matchup is like  Very Happy .  I've never lost to it.  I need to do some testing versus meditate Remora because nobody plays it out here (except for Sam Black and other pros who play it in side events of GP's  Very Happy).   In theory, they can't commandeer or Draw off remora when I play Dark Confidant, and Their meditates are REALLY weak against Combo because Instead of playing Bombs that they can commandeer, I play cards like Confidant, and a lot of cards that don't matter if they commandeer (twister, wheel, windfall, desire, Tendrils).   Xantid Swarm is also QUITE insane in the limited games I did get in.     It's other Dark Ritual decks that are a problem for GWSx.  I need to figure out how to board for that matchup.

Great list and big congratulations on your finish. I especially love the single Daze Wink The list is probably fine tuned for your meta and if I saw the top four list right, there is not much of a need for it: But don't you think, that just one out for non creature threats is enough? Especially as you are running Duress instead of Thoughtseize - which is totally understandable in the face of the Confidant life loss - I could see lets say an Ethersworn causing you trouble.

Cannonist isn't usually problematic.  I play Rebuild, Hurkyl's Recall, and Chain of Vapor.  If they play Gaddock Teeg, usually I can hold off at least Teeg attacks, with Dark Confidant.  That is usually enough time for me to find Chain of vapor.   Honestly, I wanted a second one in the sideboard, but I couldn't find my 2nd japanese one Very Happy

Damn, I forgot about the Canonist being an artifact  Smile And I can see your point with the missing japanese Chain  Wink Maybe a single Repeal could help out.

For clarity, the hand I kept game 3 was 2x chalice, 2x wispmare, 2x 5c lands, ancestral recall.  I just needed that recall to hit me a little bit of gas, but it didn't.  That's ok though- I'm happy with the mox from the day before.

Also, if "overthinking a play" you mean "playing your mystical tutor into a chalice at one like a donkey" then yes you overthought your play.

Nice finish, soly. I'll be interested to see how this goes over at the next large event.
