Hey, i have a casual deck based on last stand, and i was wondering...

Do i have to target both a creature and an opponent to play last stand? Since it has two targets my guess is "Yes"

Yes, you have to target an opponent and a creature. If you can't do that, you can't play Last Stand.

I too have a casual Last Stand deck, and I should point out: both targets have to be there on announcement, but only one has to be legal upon resolution for the card to not be countered by the game rules. Thus if you play Last Stand targeting the opponent's creature, they cannot make Last Stand fizzle by removing their creature in response; they also would have to also make the target player (presumably themselves) untargetable in response.
