The work to get a fake id and look believable would be awesome to see.

Hopefully we will see some US guys out for this.

I wouldn't go for realism, I would go for imbibing my opponents with terror, horror, and repulsion. 25 dollar entry for complete willingness to cast aside pride?

I was just wondering what pride you had to begin with...hmm?

Somebody tell Chapin how counterbalance works?

I will copy and paste the post tourney results below:

The first ever Untouchables Vintage Championship was a great success, thanks to all the players - local and beyond - who came out and participated!

Kevin Roscoe was the lucky recipient of the door prize / pre-registration prize and took home a Divine vs. Demonic deck!

We had a turnout of 56 players with many players returning to the format after long breaks from the game. With this turnout we went with seven rounds of Swiss followed by a top-eight playoffs.

Standings after Round Seven:
1. Razvan Trufasiu - 17pts - Ichorid
2. Dustin Knox - 17pts - Suicide Black
3. Matthew Larivee - 16pts - Oath
4. Donald Campbell - 16pts - Tezzeret
5. William Lee - 16pts - Oath
6. Phil Russo - 15pts - Tezzeret
7. Tim Turcotte - 15pts - Ad Nauseum Tendrils
8. Lam Phan - 15pts - Counterbalance Top

With the prize structure of this event the players making the cut to top-eight knew they were taking home at least an Italian Mana Drain, but a win in the quarterfinals would mean a Mox or better. After a few pictures and receiving their Top Eight playmats, these guys got down to business...

Quarterfinal Results:
Lam Phan (8) d. Razvan Trufasiu (1)
William Lee (5) d. Donald Campbell (4)
Matthew Larivee (3) d. Phil Russo (6)
Dustin Knox (2) d. Tim Turcotte (7)

With their wins, Lam Phan, William Lee, Matthew Larivee, and Dustin Knox moved to the next round, guaranteeing them a Mox or better.
The winners of the semifinals would be moving into Black Lotus territory...

Semifinal Results:
William Lee (5) d. Lam Phan (8)
Matthew Larivee (3) d. Dustin Knox (2)

Based on their ranking after Swiss, Dustin Knox received a Mox Pearl and Lam Phan received a Mox Emerald.

William Lee and Matthew Larivee moved on to the finals and decided to both take the cash option on their Black Lotus prize cards, walking away with a very nice $700 each.

Congratulations to all the players on a great event and to the people who came out on top for their impressive finishes!

A huge thanks to Victor for head judging and to the other judges for taking time to help out with rulings throughout this event.
