The Cave Open is a local tournament in Bømlo, Norway.

On friday after work me and my girlfriend started on the drive. It's about 160km and one ferry from my place. It took us about 3,5 hours. When we arrived we stayed at Ola's parents’ house. They where very friendly and let us stay there for free. Friday night there was also some other players joining us in the house and we talked about what decks to play.
Saturday morning we started with a good breakfast before walking to the cave. First we walked a path into the forest before we went over the mountain and on the other side well hidden there was the cave. This cave was built over 200 years ago by Ola’s ancestors when digging for gold. Now it’s just a place for the brown bear to hibernate during the winter. Ola and friends had prepared the cave for the tournament the days before the event so everything was in place.

After the event Ole Gunnar (chef) had prepared some food. It was cow meat on wooded sticks grilled on the bonfire. We also had a german onionsalad and some greek salad.
