How many more Unicorns must die???

With the increasing popularity of Mystic Remora, I feel that the best decks currently to play are decks simaler to the Popular Tezzeret build, but with more creatures.
As we all know, Bomberman fits the description.

Despite being one of my favortie decktypes as well as fun, Bomberman I feel is underrated.

So here's a list of what I feel will be the future of controll decks.

Land:
3x Flooded Strand
3x Polluted Delta
4x Volcanic Island
3x Tundra
1x Bazaar of Baghdad
1x Tolarian Academy
1x Library of Alexandria

Creatures:
3x Auriok Salvagers
4x Trinket Mage
3x Goblin Welder
1x Inkwell Leviathan
1x Platinum Angel

Sorceries:
1x Time Walk
1x Gamble
1x Wheel of Fortune
3x Careful Study

Artifacts:
1x Mox Emerald
1x Mox Ruby
1x Mox Sapphire
1x Mox Pearl
1x Mox Jet
1x Black Lotus
1x Aether Spellbomb
1x Sol Ring
1x Time Vault
1x Voltaic Key
2x Sensei's Divining Top

Instants:
1x Ancestral Recall
1x Brainstorm
1x Fact or Fiction
1x Thirst for Knowledge
4x Force of Will
4x Mana Drain
1x Red Elemental Blast

PlanesWalkers:
1x Tezzeret the Seeker

Key Choises:

Goblin Welder- In today's enviornment of more artifact heavy controll builds as well as Stax growing more popular, goblin welder just seems like a good idea.  He works well with Thirst and Carefull study as he can ressurect the Platty or Inky (as well as any other atrifact) you pitch to them.  He can also spare you the 1W it costs to get the salvagers combo going.  Basically, he can aid you as well as cripple your opponent, and I feel that he is a must have.

Vault/Key- Not a lot of Bomberman decks play Vault/key.  Personally, I'm a fan of saying "oops, I win"

4 Trinket Mages- First of all, we want our lists to be creature heavy, so we'll have things to play while a remora is out there.  Also, no black means no tutors, and Trinket mage is a must have if we want to assemble our salvagers combo, as well as vault/key, or he can snag a mox to sac to tinker, or to welder

No Dark Confidant- Personally, I like Bob in Bomberman, but in this situation, we are playing a lot of spells with a high casting cost, which really can screw you over.  Also, Bob can screw you over with the Vault/Key combo, which is something we want to avoid.

Carefull Study- Not a bad card in and of itself, but it's even better when we take advantage of the discard part with Goblin Welder

Tezzeret, The Seeker- Despite this being Bomberman, we want to keep it simaler to Tezz.  You win the turn after you play this guy, so why not?

2 Tinker targets- Despite being tinker targets, these guys are also Welder targets, and running 2 doubles the chances we'll end up with one in the graveyard for Welder.

Bazaar- Helps dig through the deck as well as dump targets for welder

Gamble seems weak in the deck (and indeed in most decks), and Empty The Warrens would fit nicely there.  I'm a fan of ETW in Bomberman decks, and sometimes you can just dump 6-10 dudes on the table turn 1. Smile

if your useing careful study why not add in a frantic search?  its a "free" version of it and can even be used to untap a land like bazaar to draw/pitch extra cards in a turn.

I think one basic Island is needed at least in case of Wasteland & Blood Moon.  Fire and Ice is a fine card for some answers, Frantic Search makes Library better, Lions Eye Diamond should be included as it's an alternative way to get infinite mana with the Salvagers.  I really like Engineered Explosives as once your infinite it should allow you to wipe your opponents board pretty well.  And Bomberman always brings up the fun tricks with recursing your Aetherspellbombs to Tutor with Trinket mages or drawing you whole deck with Top.  Love me some Bomberman.

One of the problems with this list is that while it does address the remora/tezz problem, it seems weak everywhere else.  It takes a couple matchups that were favorable in fish and stax and makes them very difficult because you don't have basic lands.  The posted list is very vulnerable to null rod/waste or sphere/waste which was one of the reasons to play the deck in various versions.  I understand that you are building the deck to fight other blue decks, and it should do that very well.  I just think if you played a tournament tomorrow you would have to get really lucky to be successful.

Bazaar is really, really bad in a deck that is already tight on mana.

If bazaar/welder/grave tricks are what you would like to use, maybe a control slaver with entomb could be a way to go.  I just think that engine makes this deck slightly unfocused.  Now if you added Intuition/AK welder may fit in a little better.
