Hey all,
As i live in Australia, I will be attending GenConOz.  They have a weird multiplayer vintage tournament I would like to enter.

The rules are:
GENCON OZ 2009 GRAND MELEE TOURNAMENT

Players will be seated randomly. Minimum table size is eight/Maximum is 12. The organiser may adjust this to accommodate the total number of players.
Creatures may only attack to the player to your left.
Spells and effects have a range of 2 player s to your left and right.
There an only be one Legend in play at the one time. A second Legend, as a Legend that has been tabled, cannot be brought into play until the tabled card is removed from play.

You score 1 point for each person who is removed from the game due to damage caused by you. You score 1.5 additional points for being the last wizard standing.
If the game is called for time, the player with the highest life total is the winner.
Band and Restricted list as per Vintage.

Im fully powered, and would like to play with full power.  Are there any combo type decks that would be fun, but not overly broken?  Id like to win but I'd rather not bring some degenerate combo and beat a bunch of scrubs on the first or second turn.

Any thoughts?

Time Vault / Key is obviously pretty sick. Other options are Painter/Grindstone so you can just ping off opponents every turn, pair that up with Voltaic Key and you can kill two players a turn, although I'm not sure if you technically kill them, you probaby need to make them draw too.
Stax is another option, I'm not sure if your Smokestack and Sphere effects affect the entire table?
But TV/Key is obviously the sickest and most degenerate combo you can think off as you get all the points of the table once you have assembled it. You first need to make sure you have enough protection so you won't get caught by a Disenchant effect another player throws at you once start dispatching players and come into reach of them.

DRAGON!

I've always thought that Dragon is the best combo in multiplayer games, because it goes infinite on whatever you want it to. Use Shivan Hellkite as the kill, and you'll be able to kill off every player in the same turn. Using something like Oona or Laquatus isn't as good here because it takes a lot longer (they have to draw the card) and then you have to combo off again each turn if you aren't allowed to mill every player.

The tournament doesn't happen until 21 Sept.

I'll let you know how it goes.
