okay i have a Scandalmonger in play and my opponent uses it's ability to make me discard a card....I choose Dodecapod....Does dodecapod come into play (yeah, yeah, battlefield or whatever
) or does it go to the graveyard?

Card Text: If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Dodecapod, put it onto the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it instead of putting it into your graveyard.
112.7. The controller of an activated ability on the stack is the player who activated it.
Your Dodecapod would be put onto the battlefield.
