So, I'm off to a sanctioned Vintage tournament at Nationals.  Based on past experience, it'll be ~30players, maybe one workshop deck, some fish, and probably some Tezz.  And quite a bit of Random Aggro.

I'm therefore considering Ultima's latest GAT build, which is basically Goyfs and Confidants, and a fairly tight manabase, plus 3 rituals and a Tendrils for a combo finish.  something like 6 Duress main, 2 more board, so it tends to own combo and non-broken Tezz draws.  Loses badly to workshops, but there's very little chance of that or Ichorid being well represented, as there's so few workshops and bazaars around.

Just want to sanity check that this sounds a reasonable plan, and maybe look for some sideboard card suggestions?

I do not get it.
You expect lots of Fish and Random Aggro so you are playing Dark Confidant and running 6 Duress?  Perhaps I missed something because you mentioned that you own combo, but then did not mention combo as a significant part of the metagame.  6 Duress effects will make sense if you expect a lot of combo.

Based on your description of your metagame I would suggest Oath or The Perfect Storm.

If you just want to own Fish, consider workshop aggro, Oath, or goblins.

Well, you're right there.  So I left it at home to make sure it wouldn't just default...

I expect a few players playing Tezzeret or TPS to round out the makeup, the unpowered ones won't be.

I don't have Workshops, so that's not an option.

Well, then it's Oath or Goblins.  Affinity would randomly get screwed by infi Kataki/Energy Flux in a Fish meta.

I went to worlds last year. The assumption of random aggro is very wrong. I remember looking down the the various 6 foot tables and seeing black lotus', moxen, and A-calls being fired off everywhere. I thought there was going to be a lot of random decks, but I played and saw none. I played slaver three times and a werid oath build, that I believe was called dice, twice.

I played Dredge first round with only 3 needles board, it got me although there was opportunity for me if I'd drawn really anything.  Then clawed my way through a mis-played Oath, then beat a Goblin deck with green for Krosan Grip in the board (and no food chain).  Then I played a similar Confidant/Goyf deck and just drew much better stuff, even though he had Bobs out (and they revealed Gush and Misd for him).  Then I staggered against Painter.  Game 1 he made a mess of because he incorrectly tried to stop my Misdirection with Commandeer on his Ancestral, so I drew the 3 basically.  Game 2 he had no board besides a Grindstone, and no cards, and I cut him into a painter without countermagic.  Game 3 I duressed seeing Painter, Grindstone, Yawg Will, Pyroblast, Vamp, Land.  I took the Grindstone, then next turn did the same and took Painter, when I should have taken Will.  He apparently only had 1 Grindstone, but I had no way of knowing that from game 1.  He got them back from the yard with a Vamped Lotus, and couldn't activate.  I got a needle out, but over the next few turns he got Hurkyls, Force and Inkwell to bounce the needle and kill.  Last round I just played a guy with a type 2 deck who'd been playing for T8 the previous round, but Rhox War Monks don't deal with Goyfs.

Vintage Worlds is a very different animal to UK Vintage Nationals, that's a fully powered metagame to be sure.
