I want this deck to be a meta game deck against the Tezzeret archtype. I think this deck has all it needs to overcome Tezzeret. Null Rods, Counterspells in the form of creatures which cannot be countered back, a creature that can kill planeswalkers, a way to recur all those creatures and 2 very strong draw engines.

Card explanations are at the bottom of the list.

Decklist
Quote
Utility & Bombs
1x Ancestral Recall
1x Time Walk
1x Demonic Tutor
1x Vampiric Tutor
1x Misdirection

Control
4x Force of Will
4x Null Rod
3x Duress
2x Thoughtseize
3x Mystic Remora

Tinker/Creature Removal
1x Chain of Vapor
2x Diabolic Edict

Creature Toolbox
3x Oath of Ghouls
4x Vampire Hexmage
3x Cursecatcher
2x Glen Elendra Archmage
2x Ingot Chewer
4x Dark Confidant

The big one
1x Dark Depths

Mana
1x Badlands
3x Underground Sea
2x Bloodstained Mire
2x Scalding Tarn
2x Polluted Delta
1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
1x Mountain
1x Island
1x Swamp
1x Mox Ruby
1x Mox Jet
1x Mox Sapphire
1x Black Lotus

Sideboard:
4x Leyline of the Void
3x Ravenous Trap
3x Hurkyll's Recall
3x Mogg War Marshall
2x Ingot Chewer

Card Choices:
Quote
Oath of Ghouls
Get back Hexmage, Cursecatcher, Ingot Chewer and Glen Elendra.

Vampire Hexmage
Resets Mystic Remora. Removes Persist Counter from Glen-Elendra. Summons 20/20 Marit Lage.

Cursecatcher
Deals with early Card draw, Tutors and Tinker. I'm thinking of replacing this card with something else, since I'd like to open with Duress/Seize/Remora anyway. Open for Suggestions

Ingot Chewer
At the very least he shoots a mox every turn. There is always something to hit.

Glen-Elendra Archmage
Becomes a hardlock with Oath of Ghouls. Nice interaction with Hexmage too.

Dark Confidant
Draw Engine independent of other cards.

Oath of Ghouls
1) Gets back Hexmage which keeps mystic remora affordable.
2) Gets back Ingot Chewer to get permanent advantage
3) Gets back Glen-Elendra Archmage to form a counter lock
4) Gets back Hexmage to remove persist counter from Glen-Elendra Archmage so you don't have to pay 3U and keep U open for its activation.
5) Gets back Cursecatcher, which becomes sort of useless after the first turns.
6) Gets back Hexmage to bring Marit Lage into play

Mystic Remora
Unlike Standstill, Remora stays in play with the use of Hexmage. The longer the game lasts, the more benefits you reap

Duress/Thoughtseize
I Chose for a 3/2 split because I want to be able to pick off creatures so I don't have to deal with them in play. Any aggro match where you resolve an Oath should be no problems for this deck.. Maybe I should play a couple of Cabal Therapies instead.

Null Rod
The deck needs to get Null Rod in play as soon as possible. Turn one Duress/Seize into turn 2 Null Rod buys you some time to get into card advantage/control mode.

Diabolic Edict
Everyone runs a tinker. At first I wanted to replace 1 Edict with 1 Dark Blast, because it has some synergy with Oath, but Dark Blast doesn't really matter since there are no 1 toughness creatures that I fear.

Chain of Vapor
I'm not sure about this slot. This could be anything but I like bounce, however I don't like bounce that removes my Oath.

Sideboard Choices:
Quote
Leyline of the Void
Ichorid hate that doesn't die under my own Null Rod. Cannot be therapied away, but is a painful topdeck (especially with Confidant). Ofcourse I would board out Null Rod, but it can be good in some other matches as well (To prevent striplocks against slaver)

Ravenous Trap
Ichorid hate that doesn't die under my own Null Rod. Can be therapied away but its a great topdeck (even with Confidant)

Hurkyll's Recall
Resets workshop decks

Mogg War Marshall
Strong against Workshop decks. With Oath of Ghouls it keeps coming back, making Tangle Wire less scary. Also, I can sack Mogg War Marshall to a soot counter and get my goblin token.

Ingot Chewer
More artifact hate against shop decks

Any input and optimization for the list would be greatly appreciated.

Bob is not so much your friend with 7 five mana spells, 2 four mana spells, and no library manipulation.

Replace the Cursecatchers with Sage of Epityrs?

Some people like Sage, I think Sage has no place in Vintage.  Mogg War Marshall and Urborg also have no place in Vintage.

You seem really light on blue cards.

Glen Elendra is pretty slow and I wouldn't run it unless I was running Mana Drain (don't think you should run Mana Drain).  Ingot Chewer should only be considered for the sideboard.  Cursecatcher is as strong as your mana denial and you are only running Null Rod so it's not that strong here. Mystic Remora seems like a poor choice will all of the creature cards.

Try patron wizard, if he sticks he's likely to win you the game.

I would take Oath and hexmage and fit bitterblossom, spellstutter, vendillion, voidmage... and riptide laboratory. Yes, quite close to a faeries deck, but it seems to me the best approach to a wizards' deck...
