[11-14-2009] Dutch Vintage Champs

I'm very proud to announce that the Vintage community in the Netherlands has grown so large and has shown such a huge interest in the format that Bram Snepvangers has taken it upon himself to organize the Dutch Vintage Championship. This is a huge thing  and a sign that Vintage is truly alive again.

The details of the event will be posted later on in this post (I'll edit it as they come available)

Date:    Saturday 14 november
Location: Spellenspektakel IJsselhallen Rieteweg 48011 AB Zwolle
Format:   Vintage (Sanctioned so no proxies)
Entry fee: 15 euro (this includes a entrance pass for the event hall.)
Playoff:   top 8 Vintage
Prizes:   1st prize Unlimited Timewalk en cup
Future Sight boosters
Additional prizes based on attendence
Rules Enforcement Level:   Competitive
Venue open: 10:00 am

I hope to see the entire Dutch Vintage community rally for this event, all German and Belgium players are also very welcome. I'll certainly be gunning for this title. Anybody willing to write up a report, do interviews, help with the setup of possible live streaming of the finals (depending on if we have internet or not) send me a PM as I'll be organizing this aspect and am looking to do live streaming of the finals if at all possible.

I hope to see most of the Dutch players again, battling for the title of Dutch Vintage Champ sounds really good! I'll also be playing the event in Breda on the 1st of November as a warm-up!

Also, I've volunteered to give interviews so be prepared everybody!

Updated the info. This event is going to be a blast, I just arranged video coverage for Vintage finals and Legacy Finals (Legacy champs is the next day). Too bad streaming isn't possible but I'll have the vid's up ASAP.

Just a small note for all dutch players: Check out this thread for some hyping regarding the event. I really hope we break the 40+ attendence with 15 people already pre-registered it seems doable.

Yes, I'm necroing this thread because it's next month and I'll be gunning for the title, remember this is sanctioned Vintage and far as my knowledge goes WoTC has offerd a cup of some sorts. Anybody that wants more information on how the pre-registration and hall pass works can PM me for details.

This event is gonna be solid non the less looking at all the pre-registrations most of the top Vintage players are already attending. Now don't let that scare you guys away as it's mighty fun facing most of them
