TO Report(s) CCGames @ Game Core Con & Blue Bell 10/3

First off, sorry it's took sooooo long to post these. But life=chaos at times! As usual, I make no claim to accuracy on the deck archtypes unless filled in by the player. If not, I take my best shot!

Reflective thoughts.....

I was pleased with our turnout at the Game Core Con. I had planned on 30 and we got 32. I thought the venue was nice, and given the fact that the facility had just opened for business recently, should get better in the future for similar events. I know Game Core is planning on another event in May 2010 (I think the last weekend but not set in stone) and I'm 90% sure we will be there again. We have lots of great ideas we are working on already for May, so please stay tuned for further updates. Thank you to everyone who attended. Thanks to Rachel for all your help! (Did I disappoint on that call !!) Did anyone get in any video game action in while there?

Now, I was a bit shocked at the lower than normal turnout for our 10/3 Blue Bell event. Especially given the fact that we were offering a Recall/Library/Sea/Sea as prize support. Did everyone blow their wads on Zendikar that weekend? Oh well, we still had a fun day, and Mike Noble went Fishing with a new build that took home the bling. Rachel made a return for your enjoyment, although I'm not sure the guys she beat in the Zendikar Draft were as star struck! Maybe they were over whelmed with her looks?! Don't worry, she'll be back again......
