The atmosphere at our tournaments is really open and competitive. We welcome all new players to the format. So here is the announcement for the Ninth edition.

The prize structure has changed a bit and we will not be giving out boosters this time, we will be giving (Vintage staples or new fetches) single cards, possible additional prizes added based on attendance. Currently the setup looks like this:

3rd place:Misty Rainforest, Scalding Tarn, 4x Foil Vampire Hexmage
4th place:Tropical Island
5th place:Misty Rainforest
6th place: Marsh Flats
7th place: Dark Depths
8th place: Arid Mesa

DISCLAIMER: We hold the rights to change the setup for place 3-8 how we see fit at anytime during or prior to the event, changes will be applied based on availability and attandence. The prize payout for place 1-2 is GUARANTEED and will not change under any circumstances.

1st and 2nd place Prizes are GUARANTEED by Rudi’s Magic Backpack (Magicunited.nl) and
the Tournament organization regardless of attendance!

Tournament Format: Non-sanctioned Vintage. (Up to 10 proxies are allowed.) Modified Swiss with single-elimination top 8.
Although this event is unsanctioned, it will be run at a Competitive rules enforcement level and deck lists are required.

Proxy Rules:
There are Two types of acceptable proxies for use in the Dutch Vintage tournament.
(Other Method’s must be approved by the judge after reviewing them before the tournament starts)
1) The first and most basic method is taking a basic land card and writes all details on the card.
2) The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that you want to proxy and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics (Cards can be erased with Acetone and a cotton ball).

All proxies must have the following text neatly printed, using a extra fine point sharpie. Ball point pens may not be used:
• The full name of the card (no abbreviations or nicknames)
• Correct casting cost of the card including all colored mana symbols
• All relevant/game effecting text (Oracle wording)

Updated all information, this event is mere weeks away and we already are close to 30 pre-registrations. Don't forget to pre-register, it makes the job of our staff a whole lot easier ensuring the tournament runs as smoothly as possible.

I hope to see you all out there and be sure to come and chat if you catch me. I'll be covering the finals and doing feature matches again, I hope this time I'll be able to not lose the transcripts and post the vids in a reasonable time (damn Youtube)

Great you made it out there, I think I saw you roaming the tournament center but I was wicked busy... anyhow the results will be up later this week (at the end of the week MAX) and I start editing the Video of the finals tonight which should also be up around the same time as the results.
