Hy, I'm trying to build a mono white hate deck but O've stubled upon the problem that almost EVERYTHING that does something relevant/disruption cost's 2 mana (cannonist, pony, the new leonin, samurai,...... you name it) But the problem is that since it's a budget deck the only acceleration it an play is chrome mox/petal and you just can't relyably cast these things from your first turn.
So if people can help me make a list of disruptive and functional 1CMC cards that are worth playing in a mono white weeny/hate deck (hatebear.dec)
so far I've got: icatian javelineers Children of korlis silence/orim's chant

I think many of us are waiting for wizards to print this card. Glint hawk from scars definitely looks like a dissappointment.
If you just need a clock/something to equip or pump, Isamaru, hound of Konda is decent.
Student of warfare and figure of destiny perform the same task better if you anticipate having some extra mana.
Mother of runes is brilliant in a very casual, beat-down oriented meta, but probably not in a meta where you want a monowhite hate deck. Are you thinking 9 waste effects and leonin arbiters here?
Children of korlis and martyr of sands are playable, but not in the maindeck. Nova cleric is pretty powerful, but again best in the sideboard. I really like how it interacts with skullclamp though. Weathered wayfarer is kinda neat, but you have to build around it.
So, if you want beaters, and particularly if you want to equip them, you have some decent alternatives. If not, consider doing something else on turn one, like playing aether vial.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.
Much like humanity itself.

What do you NEED turn 1? I have had this discussion many times. My thoughts about the topic of 'solid 1 drops' for fish/aggrocontrol are that you can not really secure yourself that fast anyway. So I believe that, whatever you go for turn 1 should be a long term investment anyway. Aether Vial is PERFECT because it isn't just a long term investment, it also forces through your RELEVANT creatures that DO secure your board position. The fundamental problem, pointed out by several players on many threads, is that Null Rod is one of those 2 drops that you really want. Still by creative play it is possible to drop null rod, even if it is not recommended, it is possible. If you are not going to use Null Rod, definitely add 4x Vial.
Going the Null Rod route suggests mana denial. Weathered Wayfarer (to get strip/waste) might be what your mono white needs as 1 drops. The problem here is that Leonin Arbiter does put stress on your mana. But it should be possible to still go for this. You can set yourself up so you are in the position to afford the extra 2 mana to get strip mine with Wayfarer. In theory, if you have the mana, Wayfarer and Arbiter are actually synergy. They might want to build up their land count to be able to fetch. If timed right, you can waste/strip the basic land and set them behind even further. The idea is to use strip mine and null rod to deny any mana sources that slipped through before you got Arbiter on line.
I would explore Weathered Wayfarer with null rod, Arbiter, Canonist, Believer, etc ...
Path to Exile is also nice synergy with both Wayfarer and Arbiter. It enables Wayfarer and Arbiter makes Path's disadvantages meaningless. The downside is that without arbiter you are giving them extra land. Path is a good way to keep using Wayfarer because their land count will most likely always be more than yours. Timing is very key though. If you don't want to take the risk, you can use Swords to plowshares instead.

If you're going mono white you might try adding artifact disruption like Chalice of the Void for 0, Pithing Needle, or Relic of Progenitus.
Also, what's the strategy? What kind of hate deck are you? What decks are you targeting? Depending on the plan of attack, there are a lot of turn 1 plays, but not necessarily auto-includes that are good against everything and in any build of mono white. For example, Savannah Lions or Steppe Lynx might be good 1CMC cards in your deck if you want to kill the opponent quickly while having your hate slow them down. However, Savannah Lions and Steppe Lynx are probably not good in a mono white deck that seeks to control the long game. Also, if you are planning to play against a lot of Oath, Dispeller's Capsule might be really good. But if there are a bunch of fish and combo, then it might not be that good. So if you got more specific with the direction of your deck, then people could give you better feedback (unless you have no direction and want to know the constraints of building a white hate deck, which is an entirely different problem. if this is the case, I suggest using the Gatherer search engine).

In addition to the cards already mentioned these caught my eye: Land Tax - helps ensure you can play all your 2 drops Black Vise - with the hate bears it could be a very fast clock SDT - a viable t1 but at ends with rod Skull Clamp - problems like sdt
Also, free spells like leyline of sanctity and mindbreak trap
