I just bought 4 FOIL textless Lightning Bolts (the ones painted by artist Veronique something), but it was damn expensive. 15 dollars each, 60 dollars total. How do I get that card without having to pay for it on stores like StarCityGames? And where does StarCityGames get those cards from? I dont think I can get it on Friday Night Magic, so if I want to get one of those special Lightning Bolts, where do I get it?

I think that was a Magic Player Rewards mailing for the last period.  For every 20 sanctioned tournaments you participated in under your DCI number you should have earned one.

StarCity (and other stores) buy them from players who receive them through MPR.

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.

Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops.  I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.
