Grimoire Theif
UU
2/2

whenever this becomes tapped exile top 3 cards face down from opponent's library.  You may look at these cards.

U, sacrifice this: Turn all cards remove by this face up.  Counter all spells with those names.

Is this a 1 time affect, or does it last forever?  As in if I remove a Confidant, they can't cast a confidant without it being countered for the rest of the game?

And does it matter if Grimoire theif is in play or not?  As in if i have 2, and sac 1, since the other is in play do they stay?

Also if I attack with 2 of them, do the exiled cards go in seperate piles, or all 1 big pile, and i can reveal all just by saccing one of them, since they have the same name?

Thanks.

From the Gatherer:
4/1/2008     The last ability counters all spells on the stack with any of the appropriate names, no matter who controls them.

So it's just ones that are on the stack right then that are countered.

4/1/2008     The only cards you turn face up are the cards exiled with the Grimoire Thief that was sacrificed.

Thus they go in separate piles if you have two, and you can't reveal all by sacrificing just one.
