Preordain
U Sorcery  Scry 2, then draw a card.

GAT has a long history back in the days when Gush was unrestricted. Today, GAT is nowhere to be found. Once in a while, a few brave souls will sleeve up GAT and have a test on it but finally shelving it away in the dark corner waiting to be rediscovered again.

Wizards has been doing a good jog in printing Vintage playable cards every set. Lodestone Golem is the most recent addition to the Vintage society and manages to top 8 and even win tournaments in every corner of the world.

Preordain is a card very similar to Ponder in its effects. However Ponder is definitely far superior as it sees more cards. Preordain is good in a sense as it fills the slot of deck manipulation and running fewer lands. This card is way better than Sleight of Hand in every angle and fits perfectly in GAT.

Here’s a draft decklist I came up with reference to Menendian’s GAT. I think most of the explanation can be found in his article. Most of the casting cost of this deck is 1 or 2 mana. With the aid of 3 basics, this deck can stand on its own in todays metagame. I’ve chose to remove Gush as a lone Gush seems a bit too random. Trygon Predator is a good maindeck as it eats artifacts for breakfast. The sideboard can be work around. I don’t have much experience playing GAT and probably you can give your comments. By the way where should I post this deck? Thanks

GAT was basically a gush deck and without some kind of similar engine, it isn't really GAT any more. Gush was used to power up Dryad and Psychatog with Berserk aiding in fast wins. Preordain is sorcery speed dig that will quite possibly be restricted and even unrestricted it is not a draw engine.

You could certainly build a counter aggro style deck, which is what I'd call what you have here. I'd probably cut the Dryad for another Goyf since you have no real way of making Dryad awesome and storm would be a better way to go if chaining spells for a game win. I'd consider cutting some stuff to fit a single tendrils and perhaps a few other cheap spells in (fast mana like crypt, petal and sol ring) along with a gifts ungiven.
