Magic Draft Simulator

I made a new, free Magic Draft Simulator because I felt that the other simulators could be seriously improved upon.  It shows your previous picks graphically in a similar manner to MTGO as well as providing a sealed deck simulator.  Check it out at MagicDraftSim.com.

I have done about a doze ROE drafts and just ended up with my first bombtastic draft:
gideon, artisian of kozilek, eldraz conscription, and sarkhan.

I would have loved to bomb people out on mtgo with those cards.

The draft simulator is a blast.  

The packs themselves don't seem like normal packs, however.  

For example, I have never seen a pack with 6 red cards before. OK, maybe they exist (LSV's Draft vids)

Also, one should not be able to draft 4 Corrupts, ever.

But it certainly is a fun site!

WOW! As someone who doesn't use MTGO - and who with a Mac can't play on Apprentice on MWS, I've got to say, this is the most fun I've had with my clothes on in ages! Instant, relentless draft gratification!

the packs are a bit wacky, but hey, I just got passed a Baneslayer - way more fun than real life!

As somebody who has tried out many a drafting site and had some design influence on one of them, you did a phenomenal job.  I only have a slight few criticisms and one feature request:

• On my laptop I can only see 2 of the 3 rows of cards at any given time.  I think you could reduce the cards to 80% of their current size to squeeze in that 3rd row without the loss of readability
• The bots don't seem particularly good at drafting.  Many of them seem to be drafting a significant amount in all 5 colors. I just drafted the best deck of my life which included a full playset of Pacifisms, three of which were pick 3 or 4
• This site is just screaming to go multiplayer with live drafts (just drafting not playing).  If you can do this, you've got every other site beat hands down.  Functionality wise, its already the best there is.  Live 8 player drafts will also help improve your picking order data to make the bots better

I hit this site over a dozen times during each day.

But I still shouldn't get passed a Grave Titan or a Baneslayer Angel, unless the opponent took the FOIL Baneslayer over the Grave Titan, or took the Foil Grave Titan over the Baneslayer.

But still, excellent site!

If I may make a small suggestion. If exporting a file to Apprentice, if I have hidden a number of cards, it may be better if those cards were moved into the sideboard. This would enable deckbuilding from within the program to carry over, and this is a nice feature you implemented.

It looks like DraftSimThingy is letting us export to MWS (which works), but building a draft deck on MWS is hella annoying, and building a deck on magicsimDraftthing is actually ok.  Hope you get the bugs worked out, and if somehow you get an 8 man live draft to work, then that would be the ultimate win for everybody out there ever whoot!!!olne!

EDIT: I figured out the deckbuilding process.   Double click on card to make it drop into maindeck area!

Apparently this site was working too well for Wizards' taste and has been ordered to be shut down. I respect that the cards are their property and therefore I have no choice but to shut down the site despite the fact that several nearly identical sites have been around for years. I was open and willing to make any requested changes, but they seemed pretty pissed and revoked permission to use anything related to their products.
