Xtreme Games Lindenhurst, IL 10/17/10 Results with Decklists

It was an unfortunately low turnout, but we had fun nonetheless. 17 people showed up to Xtreme Games's monthly vintage tournament. It was a 5-round cut to top-4. As predicted, MUD dominated. This was not surprising, as the last two tournaments at Xtreme were won with MUD. I won/split the tournament with a slight variation of Joseph Brown's MUD list that won Waterbury. In fact, 3 of the top 4 decks in the top 4 were variations of that specific list. The bulk of the field was divided into either Mishra's Workshop-based decks or new Gush lists (GAT, Tezzeret, Jace, Slaver variants, etc.). While the unrestricton of Gush is very exciting, it seemed that the general Gush-based deck was no match for the MUD lists. Other than losing to Ben Carp's nearly identical list (I copied from it during the car ride down), I beat every blue-based Gush deck in the swiss pretty easily. The power level of the deck was astounding. Other than with another Mishra's Workshop-based deck, I have no idea how one would cosistantly be able to beat this MUD list. Dredge is the only deck that comes to mind. Without further wait, here are the top-4 decklistis:
