When: 11/27/2010 at 1:00pm

Where: CCGHouse.com
10411 NE Fourth Plain Blvd Suite #127
Vancouver, WA 98662

Phone: (360)-891-0866

Entry: $5

This is planed to be a monthly or bimonthly event for the shop. CCG House has been an online juggernaut for some years now and recently opened their doors to tournaments roughly 6 months ago. Free Standard every Friday with a $50 cash pool, taking nothing in and $10 Drafts on Tuesdays. I'm not exactly sure why they do it but when I inquired they said, "For the love of the game." Similarly they give good support for this tournament regardless of attendance. If 10 people show up it will be roughly a $100 cash pool and will only go up from there. Please show up and have a great time with these awesome people.

I have had a bad experience interacting with CCG house in the past. Your mileage may differ of course, but allow me to recount my experience. It was originally posted here:

When the whole Painter's Servant combo broke, I set out to order some Painter's Servants. So, I looked around and saw who had the best prices. They were mostly at a dollar or so each. I put in a preorder from ccghouse.com, 16 Painters for 99 cents each, plus Shipping and Handling.

I got the package yesterday. It was a yellow envelope sent via USPS, and it contained only my order slip. Not a single card. Just the packing slip.

I called and they insisted that because the price went up they would be unwilling to send me the cards again. They said that the only thing they could do was refund my order.

So, I have no recourse. I purchased something, and did not receive it.

And I wanted everyone else on here to know of my experience.

I should contrast this to other retailers, such as Troll and Toad and Star City, who have sent orders even when made right before the price went up.

So, for all I know this tournament may be legitimate. But I feel it fair to give warning to anyone considering attending this event of their business practices.

Tons of dealers, including the "big" ones, have very similar methods Rich; most don't send an empty package. Considering it's CCGHouse I'm not shocked.

As someone who deals with a lot of online trading/sales I can tell you first hand that CCGHouse is just plain shady.

I would not support these individuals and I believe many secondary market players would agree.

I don't mean to start a fight, people should be informed though.
