I left before the end, final results within a few hours I guess, but here's some information. 41 people, 6 rounds + TOP8. I would say 1/3 of the room was full of MUD, the other 1/3 with Vault Control and the rest with Oath and randoms. TOP8 : 2 MUD and 6 Vault Controls. At least one MUD went on semi, the other one was kicked by a Vault. Dunno how the tourny ended. I was playing Turbo Tezz (list somewhere on Morphling), did 4-2-0 and finished 15th with the worst opp % of the day I guess . Hiromichi beat me on the first round but did crap the rest of the day (shame on him to have been playing MUD).

And 6 of Time Vault. By the way, we were 4 players playing Turbo Tezz ( http://www.morphling.de/top8decks.php?id=1343), and we all made 4-2-0, winning through odious top-decks all day long. The card cuts sooo many interest from the game...

those are some weird Oath lists. I can see why Oath won with so many Shop in the metagame but these list are confusing. The first place list plays Tidespout, but no Gush. The other list plays Gush, but no Tyrant.
Both have Eternal Witness, which seems like it would be a dud sometimes, although I'm sure it's an all-star, too. All i know is I'd be pissed if I ran off three cards -> got E-Witness and returned a fetchland to my hand. Do Japanese players typically play E-Witness in their oath decks?

You have to understand that the Japanese play in a metagame that has no serious Selkie presence. That affords them the luxury to build accordingly. Although I too dislike Eternal Witness. Mainly because I do not see the point/ There is no point.
